The basic principle of Helping Learning originated many years ago when the founder was teaching. At that time he wanted to be able to link students to teachers for homework support. Unfortunately appropriate technology did not exist and the idea was placed on hold for twenty years or so!
Now, not only can teachers talk to students but they can do so using a free voice over the internet service and as an added bonus they can share pictures and documentation using web cameras. Add to this the opporunity for teachers to create bookable tutorial or lesson slots and the facility for schools and colleges to have their own Helping Learning closed user-group and you will have some idea of the potential of Helping Learning.
